About half of all veterans face some sort of difficulty transitioning to civilian life. After supporting various military non-profit organizations as a veteran himself, Brian Fish launched his own initiative to address this issue. Considering the veterans sector, he sought clear, relatable and memorable branding that stands outs from other existing organizations.
CHALLENGE
This initiative called for a complete Branding experience starting with a simple but powerful name that captures Brian’s vision. Brand Image from the ground up was needed to form an unforgettable impression. Brand Identity was also needed to develop important pillars such as a clear mission statement, solid core values, along with messaging that provides a complete understand about what V² works to accomplish. To communicate this to the public, an informative, but clear and concise website was needed to attract volunteers, donors, and more importantly veterans.
SOLUTION
“V²” (formally known as “V2 Services and Support), was created by combining two prior potential names. It represents how Brian wishes to deliver the next level of veteran aid as well as veterans supporting veterans. The design mark for V² is crafted carefully with meaning. One V (veteran) is the support for another. It holds one star to represent unity towards the community and cause. Six strokes to represent each brand of the military.
